Despite its big name, Pindamonhangaba is actually a small countryside town near Brazil’s biggest city – São Paulo. It is here that Lucia was born and raised. From sewing to painting she has always found happiness in her art. This passion spurred her to seek a degree in Art. During her studies, she further developed her skills and later went on to become an art professor. Despite her teaching job, she kept doing craftwork as a hobby, and specialized in making necklaces.

After some time, she decided to dedicate herself exclusively to the creation of her own pieces. Inspired by all the native colors of Brazil that surrounds her, she founded Fita de Moça, a brand that brings to life beautiful exclusive necklaces from the overlap of satin ribbons sewed together by hand.

Her greatest happiness is to see her art pieces on people’s neck lines and therefore, she puts her whole heart into the production of each individual piece. The final product is always a unique piece made with an exquisite delicacy and precision.
