Flavia Amadeu

Flavia Amadeu has an extended curriculum in the field of sustainable design: With her extensive knowledge, she started to produce unique jewelry pieces made from natural rubber.

Her pieces are produced from sheets of rubber made in the Amazonian Rubber communities. She is constantly searching for better ways to produce the raw material used for her jewelry in these communities. She also empowers women and young people by including them in the production chain. All her actions generate income for the Amazonian families and assist in the maintenance of the Amazonian Rain Forest. Her work has brought her international recognition in the field of sustainable fashion.

Flavia Amadeu’s design is contemporary, minimalistic and inspired by nature. Her contemporary jewelry are pieces that adapt to the body, acquiring volume and shape when dressed. She creates pieces that are not just beautiful but also full of value.

Her pieces were exhibited at the Miami Art Basel Week, the Victoria & Albert Museum, London Design Museum and Milan Design Week in 2018, and, in 2019, Ronaldo Fraga used her pieces in his collection during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

Her brand is a living proof that fashion can be not only creative but also sustainable.
